Dana and Hunter joined us last fall for the March Air Force Base Trash the Dress group shoot Erinn and I planned. Dana is the founder, owner, editor and inspiration behind the great wedding site, The Broke Ass Bride, which I highly recommend you check out. Anyway, these two creative people put together this hilarious video about how they become soulmates, and its really well done! We love fun, creative, inventive clients like this!
Weddings are often a very formal affair; the tuxedos, the string quartets, the slow motion movements and the quiet churches. But this is a day of celebration and joy. So we see nothing wrong with letting loose and having a little fun during your wedding! If you’re looking for a great idea, just watch this!!

We had the honor of shooting the wedding of Joel and Nicole back in early spring, and instead of an engagement session, they opted for the Trash the Dress, or After Thaute, session. Ladies, this is a great opportunity for you to get back in your gown and take some amazing photos with your new husband. No stress over the wedding day, no time limits, no “stuck at the ceremony site” problems. Just you and your husband, being haute models for a day! We took Joel and Nicole into downtown Los Angeles, starting off at the Disney Concert Hall and ending up amongst the warehouses and quiet industrial side-streets. What a picture-perfect day!
