Stay tuned for more pics soon from Danica & Dylan’s haute day after “After Thaute” session in Santa Barbara. We started off at a friend’s horse ranch in the hills above Santa Barbara, then continued the shoot on State Street and at the Santa Barbara County Courthouse Sunken Garden.
Mike & Alina tied the knot at the family ranch in the hills above Goleta, just north of Santa Barbara. It was a gorgeous intimate ceremony underneath a century-old oak tree, surrounded by friends and family. Many more to come!
One of our past clients, Dana, who participated in our Trash the Dress shoot last year, runs the Broke Ass Bride website, a great blog full of ideas for brides on a budget! We were honored to guest blog this week, discussing how to make the most of your day when it comes to your pictures! Be sure to check out our post here!
Every wedding has its share of guests with cameras, video cameras, maybe even a Polaroid here and there. Not too many weddings, however, have their own sound technician and broadcast-quality video gear, complete with microphone bearing the E! Entertainment Television logo. But then again, the wedding of Melissa and Scott was anything but ordinary, and it was so much fun! We first met these two at a coffee shop in Orange, where they told us all about their wedding and how it was going to be featured on E!, and of course we were pretty excited about that. We had an amazing engagement session at the Getty Museum in Los Angeles, but the wedding literally took the cake. Not only did they have the use of an amazing private home to get ready in, but this home had a backyard garden of eden, complete with a “secret garden” where Scott saw his bride for the first time. The gorgeous afternoon light bathed the guests in beautiful warmth throughout the ceremony, and the party lasted well into the night. Thank you Scott and Melissa for sharing your special day with us. It was truly a unique event, from the cake throwing to the gourmet popcorn and the s’mores roasting! We know you two will enjoy each other for many years to come, we were just glad to be a part of it from the beginning!
Who knew Marlon Brando’s protege was the ringbearer?
Nothing like capping off your wedding night with a little toasted marshmallow and chocolate!
Ok, a little cake in the face ain’t bad either!
One of the cutest touches at this wedding was a surprise performance Melissa put on for Scott toward the end of the night. Apparently Melissa is an amazing singer, and recorded this song for her new husband. Check out the slideshow to enjoy her beautiful voice!
Once again, more beautiful images out of Erinn’s creative mind from Richard and Lynnette’s wedding in downtown Spokane at Riverfront Park. We had a blast shooting their portraits on the streets of downtown Spokane, and the rain cleared up over Riverfront Park just minutes before their ceremony was to begin!
