Our wish list

Every year, just after Thanksgiving (or sometimes before), I would sit down on my bed with a pencil and some paper, and write down my ultimate Christmas list for that year.  Of course I would put them down in order of importance, with the most highly required items on top.  I’d also make sure to put down my backup or “filler” list, things that I didn’t drool over, but I certainly wouldn’t return if they showed up under the tree.  I remember the G.I. Joe aircraft carrier being on my list several years in a row, the one thing I think I never got that I wanted the most.  Oh well!

As I got older, my list grew more sophisticated, with clothing and camera equipment replacing the LEGOs and Upper Deck baseball card sets.  My list became more lazy as well, and soon I was literally emailing URL links directly to the products I wanted, at the website where I had already researched the best price possible.  But I’ve never given up on the wish list, and now I have a new one that I want to share with all of our wonderful brides, and brides-to-be!

One of the great things about this whole photography gig is the opportunity to shoot in some of the most incredible locations.  Even what seems to be the most mundane and bland spots turn into hidden gems.  Truly “another man’s treasure”.  But there are still quite a few places we have yet to shoot, or we want to return for a second chance.  We know as a bride or an engaged couple, you can sometimes have a hard time choosing the perfect location for your photos.  So to help you out, and to get the creative juices flowing, I present to you the White Haute Photography Wish List for Summer 2009 (in no particular order, for once).
